They are great! They absolutely will take care of you. Rick behind the counter is one of the nicest guys I have ever met. If your car is out of warranty, they will do everything they can to fix your problem so that you are not stuck having to pay the ridiculous prices from your dealer. The first time I visited I was apprehensive because it's located right in the city of Poughkeepsie. However shortly after siting in the waiting room and actually seeing how they operate I became very comfortable. Since then I have been back at least 4 times to have a clutch repaired, oil change and now tires. Every time I come in Rick remembers me by name and we can have a conversation about almost anything. I sincerely give this place the best rating because they deserve it. But don't take my word on it. Come in and see for yourself.

Not only did Foreign Car Specialistd fix my car, they made my 17 year old vehicle look brand new. They are honest and expert in all that they do. Senior citizens can feel secure in patronizing FCS and the amazing team. 12-30-2017 A few days ago I was concerned about air pressure in my tires. Went to Foreign Car Specialist and without hesitation they took my car inside and checked the pressure. All four tires were low. Thank goodness there is a place like Foreign Car Specialists to alleviate my anxieties over my 17 year old Mitsubishi. Walking into service area is always pleasant. Appointment or not, you are always greeted politely and attentively. Your concerns become their concerns. No problem is too big or small. They have always been there for me. Advice about the car has always been spot on. But they aren’t just mechanics, they make you part of their family. Foreign Car Specialists are experts and relations you want in your family.

First Visit: I wanted a spin balance for my tires & they were able to accommodate me the same day. As a family-owned biz, they were very welcoming & made me feel right "at home." Initially, the car was taken for a test drive & given a complete checkup. The tech showed me some irregular wear on one tire & alerted me that I would need 2 new tires in the future. It was a pleasure to get "personalized" service & I would not hesitate to return. P.S. A free wash & vacuum are included.
