UPDATE: just got a call from them. They will honor the original quote! That's good business. Thank you. I called for a quote on the front and rear differential oil service for my BMW 328i and was quoted $318. Once they got the car, I got a call and was told that the quote that I got was wrong and that the new price for the service was $568 or 78% more than the initial quote. This is either a case of the individual who provided the initial quote not knowing what they were doing or a classic bait and switch. Here is what we the price is now that we have the car. Either way, I am incredibly disappointed as this garage came with good recommendations and reviews. No offer to negotiate or apologies.
