This was my first visit to this establishment with my Bmw. Rick was at the front counter he was very pleasant courteous and informative. The service was on point and the price was right. The diagnosis to my problem was accurate and much faster than if I had gone to the dealer. They (dealer) wanted me to drop off my car for a few days. I would definitely recommend and take my car to this mechanic shop again. Thank you Foreign Car Specialist.

I was visiting in Poughkeepsie, when my aging, VW Golf broke down. A friend suggested I contact Foreign Car Specialists. It was very fine advise. They did excellent work, which allowed me to return home to Massachusetts without worrying the car would not make it. Now, I always plan to go to Poughkeepsie to have it serviced. In addition, I greatly appreciate Rick's attention to detail. He presented me with all options and their costs in servicing the car and let me decide what would be best in my situation. Thank you.

Have taken my '93 Lexus there twice, so not extensive experience, but so far very good. Work has been as expected, and they always offer a detailed estimate after determining what's needed, before starting the work. Often not the case at many shops.

I almost don't want to recommend this fantastic group of guys because then they'll get even more famous and even busier.... Timely, thorough, cost effective, caring, friendly, can't say enough. And Rick, dedicated to the front desk is the lube that keeps the shop running smooth. Not only does he know front desk, he knows cars. Refreshing when one comes in saying - it makes this grrrrrrrr noise, the back end shimmys like my sista kate, or she just doesn't have any get up and go. He always counters with oh, that sounds like: and then the machine terminology starts spewing and I look for coffee......And if that isn't enough, hey they have great magazines. Not just car, muscle or hunting, but decorator, cooking, ones too.I've said too much and not enough. Enjoy this shop, but don't get in my way.....
