Over the past year, I purchased two used Mini Coopers - not knowing that it would be difficult to find a place that I could trust to take good care of them for me. I happened upon Foreign Car Specialists - thank goodness! I had a wonderful experience with them so far. The staff made me feel comfortable and I really loved the system that they use to communicate the diagnosis and estimate for the issues found and recommended. You get photos and a complete description of the issue and resolution. The estimate process allows you to accept or decline the recommended fixes. My car was fixed within 24 hours and I'm happy with the results! So happy I have a place I can trust with my Minis!

Sent car in for oil change. Very efficient, used a loaner car for the day which was appreciated and needed.

Brilliant mechanics and thoughtful modifications done expertly by Kevin and crew. Latest job on ‘66 Beetle involved transmission replacement, resealing of engine casing, conversion to electronic ignition, alternator pulley/belt tensioner kit, addition of screw-on oil filter and repair of sunroof. Everything is perfect in my 55 year old car now. Thanks Kevin and crew!

Expertise is rare and I've found it here @Foreign Car Specialists. Kevin guided my '66 Beetle through engine and transmission overhauls and upgrades and it's better than ever! Transmission failure presented the opportunity to address nagging oil leaks. Engine case was split open, front seal replaced, cylinders reseated, case sealed up, oil strainer cover replaced with billet aluminum plate - not one drop of oil leaking now, and that's a first. Alternator belt and pulley upgrade with ribbed tensioned belt which looks cool and maintains tension. Exhaust manifold was found to have a small hole(!) which was welded, glass beaded and then painted hammered steel. All engine tin was cleaned and sent out for powdercoating.
